Captain Who?
If you run for Atlantic Athletic Club, you are eligible for the ‘Captain’s Challenge’ which is a lucky draw for any club member who ran more than 400 kms in races from the last year-end function (which is usually sometime in early December) to the current year function.
Also known as the Caroline Balkwill award, since she has won it more times than anyone else. Lucky girl. Also she runs a LOT, so deserves it.
So instead of writing a separate post for each race, I’m just going to record them all here… and tally them all up!
Update: The Captains Challenge Lucky Draw Winner was announced on Friday 6 December 2024 at our 45th Anniversary Year End function at the Radisson Hotel. The winner was Darawees Gasant aka Chucky!
